In accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the following information is provided regarding the processing of personal data.

Note: All articles referred to herein are articles of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is Sogliano Ambiente S.p.A., with its registered office at Via della Resistenza 4, 47030 Sogliano al Rubicone (FC), Italy, VAT No. 02482630403.

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

Browsing the website and using the available services may involve the processing of browsing data, identification and contact details provided through the forms available on the website, personal data contained in communications sent to the Company, and newsletter subscription data.

Personal data may also be processed in connection with job applications and, where applicable, through cookies and other tracking technologies.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

Personal data are processed for the following purposes:

  • Website operation and security: To enable website navigation, ensure the proper functioning of services, and prevent unlawful use. Legal basis: the legitimate interests of the Data Controller, where applicable.

  • Management of contact requests: To respond to enquiries and carry out any related activities. Legal basis: taking steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, or legitimate interests, depending on the circumstances.

  • Newsletter management: To manage subscriptions and send the requested communications. Legal basis: consent, where required by applicable law.

  • Newsletter performance measurement: To analyse email opens, clicks, and interactions with communications, including through tracking pixels and web beacons, in order to measure their effectiveness and improve content relevance. Legal basis: the data subject’s consent, where required.

  • Job application management: To assess applications received and the potential establishment of an employment or professional collaboration relationship.

4. Provision of Personal Data

The provision of personal data is voluntary, except where necessary to access a specific service or comply with a legal obligation.

Failure to provide the required data may prevent the Company from processing a request or providing the relevant service.

Where consent to newsletter tracking is required, withholding such consent must not prevent recipients from receiving communications without tracking pixels.

5. Data Processing Methods and Recipients

Personal data are processed using electronic and digital systems, with appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to ensure their security.

Data may be accessed by authorised personnel and service providers working on behalf of the Company, including IT service providers and newsletter platform providers, as well as consultants and public authorities where required by law.

Parties processing personal data on behalf of the Data Controller are appointed as Data Processors, where applicable.

Where personal data are transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such transfers are carried out in compliance with the requirements established by the GDPR.

6. Data Retention

Personal data are retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected and, subsequently, for any additional period required by legal obligations or necessary to protect the rights of the Data Controller.

Specific retention periods are indicated, where necessary, in the privacy notices relating to individual processing activities.

7. Rights of Data Subjects

Data subjects may exercise their rights under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability, where applicable.

Where processing is based on consent, such consent may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

Requests may be submitted to info@soglianoambiente.it or via certified email (PEC) to soglianoambiente@pec.it.

Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
